Elon Musk’s mom says Democrat attacks on son are ‘malicious’ after Republican U-turn

You can always rely on  your mom to have your back!
One mom who has spoken up to protect her son is Elon Musk’s mom, Maye Musk, who made an appearance on Thursday’s installment of The Bottom Line, which airs on the FOX Business Network.
During her chat, hosts Dagen McDowell and Sean Duffy questioned Maye about the driving force that made her become more conservative after the former model switched from the Democratic Party over to the Republican Party.
Maye replied: “When I became a U.S. citizen, of course, I was Democratic because they give you that option and because they’re the good kind people who care about America,” before explaining that she would watch CNN, MSNBC and read the New York Times, which depicted Republicans as “terrible”.
“But then, they’d also say Elon is terrible, and I was thinking, why are they lying about Elon?”
She continued: “They really just cut into my mind that they just didn’t know what they were doing.”
The 78-year-old then admitted: “When I resigned from the Democrats, I just felt such a relief that I’m not part of the party that’s now malicious and dishonest,” and alleged: “And my biggest fear is the fraud they are committing at the voting booths.”
It’s no secret that her son Elon is a big supporter of Donald Trump, the Republican Presidential nominee.
During Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Elon announced that he wants to slash federal spending by at least $2 trillion, which sparked a huge debate among supporters.

Slashing the budget by such an aggressive amount would require decimating an array of government services, including food, health care, and housing aid — and it could erode funding for programs that lawmakers in both parties say they want to protect, from defense to Social Security.
Maye was also questioned about this topic on The Bottom Line when Dagen and Sean asked if she thought her son could find $2 trillion or even $1.5 trillion in fraud, waste, and abuse in the U.S. government.
“I think more than $2 trillion. I think he was just being modest. I mean, look what he’s done with Twitter and X. It’s incredible,” she replied.
“And then, of course, Tesla was idiotic to do, and we heard it’s idiotic. SpaceX was idiotic. And how is he doing now?”
