This 6-foot extension cable has a male type-A connector on one end that plugs into any computer or other USB host. The opposing end has a female type-A connector allowing a second USB cable to be inserted. You thus daisy-chain cables together to get to the length you need.

USB connections will fail if extended to over 16 feet in length.
