100 Lire Stainless Steel coin issued by the Italian State Mint. It weighs 8 grams, is 27.75 mm wide, and 2.00 mm thick.
Design features the Roman Goddess Minerva, as a symbol of wisdom, (equated with the Greek Goddess Athena). Minerva is helmeted, holding a spear and grasping an Olive Tree sapling.
The front of the coin features the head of a woman crowned with laurel as the personification of the Italian Republic.

Coins shipped via standard envelope are shipped first class in envelopes with tracking. Generally, coins shipped for .99c are standard envelope. The coins are packaged between two pieces of cardboard, or card stock paper. I have found this to be a very safe way to ship coins for several years and have not had any issues yet, though it is always possible something can go wrong.
