This clover blend will outperform the expectations of most hunters. It will provide years of forage and palatable clover with proper care. Bucks have been found to stay and enjoy this plot for long periods of time.
This blend germinates fast and grows quick and think in cool weather. It grows fantastically in well-drained soils and though it is quite shade tolerant, it also grows well in sunny exposures. Deep growing tap roots in this blend draw essential nutrients from the soil making it incredible forage for deer. Insects and beeds love this blend as well, making it attractive to birds. This universal blend prefers drier sites and will be loved by everyone from hunters implementing buck plots to tea lovers harvesting blossoms for tea time! In many years of trial and error, this is one of our best!
Planting Instructions:
Choose a location that has as much sun as possible.
Soil pH should be between 6.0 and 7.0. It is best to work the soil by conventional farming methods (if available), by rototiller or disc and then firm by rolling.
Broadcast and rake for good soil contact.
