    Description

    Native warm season perennial grasses provide shelter for game bird chicks and bedding habitat for fawns. Forbs and legumes generate insect nutrition for chicks as well as Deer Browse. This mix includes: Little Bluestem, Big Bluestem, Yellow Indiangrass, Switchgrass, Side Oats Grama, Alfalfa, Illinois Bundle flower, Periodic Sunflower Cracked Sorghum. Cracked sorghum bulker added to enhance seed metering and distribution. Suggested planting rate: 5 pounds (1 bag) per 1/2 acre. Broadcast or apply with a grass drill in late winter or spring.
