    Description

Spanish-Colonial era 8-Reales silver cob coin, minted in Mexico City, early 1700s, recovered from the shipwreck of the "Vliegenthart" off coast of the Netherlands in 1983, after ship went down in the early 1700s. Coin comes with multiple documents/certificates of origin and authenticity, with photographic fact sheet as well. Coin has original artifact/coin number included, on a Blanchard & Co. Flip tag. The coin is mounted in a custom designed convertible bezel-setting, along with one emerald as an accent. The setting is sterling silv er with some yellow gold prongs as accents. The bezel may be worn as a bracelet with included attached silver chain strap, which itself is also reversible and, if desired, completely removable, allowing the coin to also then be worn as a pendant. One of a kind, entirely unique setting designed and built specifically for this one coin. Unmounted weight of the coin is approx. 21.75 grams, approx. weight with bezel is 28 grams, and approx. weight with bezel and bracelet strap is 38.5 grams. Authentic 1700s shipwreck-salvaged 8 Real Spanish cob coin minted in Mexico City. Information all clearly detailed in paperwork/documents included. Questions are welcome but please ask them
