Augat Wirewrap Board, 450 Pins, 2 40 Pin Headers, Modified for Prototyping, USED

Description

I am selling one piece of a wirewrap board which has been cut from a larger panel shown in some of the pictures. I cut and modified these boards myself, with several in use by me. The unit you get will differ from the pictured in that the headers are 40 pin instead of 26 pin, there may also be some bypass capacitors soldered in place.

This is what you get:
The panels were cut from the original large panel (shown here) with a hacksaw.
Each cut smaller panel consists of 450 wirewrap points with 2 40 pin headers for ribbon cables.
There are 2 binding posts I soldered to the Vcc and GND planes.
Each panel is bolted onto a protective thin wood plate onto which 4 threaded posts were epoxied. The protective plate is removable for access to the wirewrap pins during wiring.
Regular DIP ICs, TO-92 transistors, discretes and component carriers can be plugged in on top of the board (as shown in pictures).
Analog as well as digital components can be used, at 5V, 3.3V or other voltages.
There is easy access to every pin from the top for debugging with scope probes.
The 2 headers can be connected to external hardware such as a computer printer port (example pictured here). The 40 pins can be reduced to 26 pins for use with old-style printer ports on PCs (shown in some of the pictures).
Either a hand or powered
wirewrap
tool can be used to make connections.
Some panels will have bypass capacitors already soldered in, these can be removed if necessary.
I use some of these myself
for various hardware/software projects

). The connections are more reliable than those of matrix boards and the assembly is compact and sturdy enough to be temporarily used in the field.
