This 3 piece short, long, and marquise shaped Chinese inspired sterling silver flower and leaf designed hair sticks are my sixth piece in my 3rd collection of ancient Chinese inspired jewelry.
The short hair stick measures 3" long with a top that is 3/4" in diameter and is embellished with a flower top.
The long hair stick measures 3 1/2" long with a top that is 3/4" in diameter and is embellished with a flower top and leaves.
The marquise shaped hair stick measures 3 1/2" long and the top is 2 1/2" long because of the curve in the shaped and has an ornate flower, leaf, and guilloche design.
Sold as a set of 3 pieces.
These combs are for decoration, so it would require one to pre-pin up the hair or style the hair then add them as additional decoration not to be used to hold the hair up.
I find myself re-teaching a lot of young women and girls the art of self adornment.
