    Lima, Peru, gold cob 8 escudos, 1740/39 V, NGC AU details / holed. S-L30; KM-38.2; Cal-2157. 26.81 grams. Full and well-centered pillars-and-waves and cross-lions-castles (the latter particularly deep) on a smallish flan (no legends), holed at top of pillars and a bit shiny all over, scarce overdate.
